CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A cold front slipped south across the region overnight and so this afternoon's temperatures will be about 10° cooler than the very warm 81° reached in Charlotte on Monday.
Skies will remain sunny through Wednesday and highs will be in the upper 60s to near 70° right through Thursday. That's when our next front will move through. It will bring our best rain chance of the week, but even that stands at no more than about 20%.
Oddly enough, the front will move through and take temperatures up for Friday and the weekend - which we will spend in the warm 70s.
