CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Our temperature roller coaster continues into the new week. Sunday started out at 37°. We rebounded to 72° by the afternoon and today will be even warmer.
Under mainly clear skies, we're starting out in the chilly 40s for most neighborhoods, but we'll wind up in the warm upper 70s this afternoon.
A dry cold front will cross the region tonight, and so, we'll take about a 10° temperature hit on Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 60s to around 70° Tuesday through Thursday.
Skies will stay mainly clear through Wednesday before another front approaches on Thursday. That will bring our best rain chance of the week. Still, it's only a 30% chance at this point.
After the front clears the area, we will return to the low 70s for Friday and into next weekend.
