Wildcats to Hold Annual Red/Black Scrimmage Saturday
DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson men's basketball team will hold their annual Red/Black Scrimmage Saturday at 2 p.m. inside John M. Belk Arena. The scrimmage is open to the public and admission is free with gates opening at 1:30 p.m.
The 2016-17 Wildcats will be introduced prior to the game, which will consist of one 20-minute half and two separate in-game situations. In addition, there will be a 3-point competition where a lucky Davidson student will get to compete against select players.
Following the on-court activities, Head Coach Bob McKillop and the Wildcats will take part in a question and answer as well as autograph session with fans in the Baker Sports Complex lobby.
Davidson will host Belmont Abbey in an exhibition contest on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. before opening the 2016-17 season Nov. 12 with an 8 p.m. tip against former Southern Conference rival Appalachian State on McKillop Court.
The Davidson Athletic Ticket Office will be open for season ticket holders to pick up their packets. Season tickets, mini packs and individual game tickets will also be available for purchase.
