Six students injured in east Charlotte school bus crash

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Six students were injured in a school bus crash in east Charlotte Wednesday morning.

Garinger High School bus 195 was carrying 37 students when it crashed on Hickory Grove Road at Martha's Ridge Drive, Brian Hacker with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools says. 

It happened around 6:49 a.m.

CMS says six students were treated for minor injuries and sent to the hospital.

There's no word on what caused the crash.
