ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -

A father and son were arrested in a meth lab bust in York County Tuesday.

Martin Leonard Zalucha, 50, and Nicholas Martin Zalucha, 28, were arrested at an apartment on Park Ave Extension following tips of drug activity at the home, which is across from Winthrop University in Rock Hill.

Officials with the York County Drug Enforcement Unit say investigators watched the home after hearing there was heavy traffic at the home and that someone was cooking meth.

Investigators say they found a small amount of meth and evidence of three meth labs that were not active, but had been previously used.

"It appeared the suspects had used motor oil to put out the substances," investigators say. Hazmat cleaned up the area.

The two are charged with manufacturing meth, distribute, sell or manufacture a controlled substance near a school, and possession with less than one gram of meth.
