WEATHER: Highs to reach low 70s, rain chances remain low

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - If you've been waiting for fall-like weather, there is good news for you! The rain and wind from Matthew are done and high pressure and sunshine are replacing them.

That means we are looking at a quiet week ahead. Highs today and Tuesday will be in the low 70s with cool overnight lows in the 40s! The sun will be shining brightly and breezes will be light.

Wednesday and Thursday will take us back to the mid to upper 70s before we settle back to the low 70s by week's end. Low temperatures will be back in the low 50s by then.

Rain chances will remain very low all week long and even into the weekend beyond.
