CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

An 18-year-old was arrested Sunday and charged with breaking and entering at the Hornets Team Store during the protests in uptown Charlotte.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Khalil Wallace is the man in surveillance images with what appears to be boxes of shoes.

Wallace is facing charges of breaking and entering, larceny, felony conspiracy and injury to personal property.

Wallace was also wanted in an incident where an officer was hurt during the protests in uptown Charlotte. Police said the officer was hit with a wrench in the arm. A windshield was also shattered nearby which caused glass to damage the officer's eye, police said. Wallace was arrested and charged with assault on a government official and damage to property.

After the violent protests in uptown Charlotte Wednesday night and Thursday morning, several people have been arrested, but police said more arrests would be made.
