11-year-old missing after getting off of school bus in Catawba County

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Search crews are looking for a missing girl in Catawba County who went missing after getting off of the school bus.

Emily Dowdle, 11, attends Catawba Elementary School and has not been seen since about 2:40  p.m.

Emily is described as being 4'11" with long light brown hair, hazel eyes, and wears dark framed glasses. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and capri jeans. 

If you have seen Emily this afternoon, you are asked to call the Catawba County Sheriff's Office at 828-464-3112.

    Sports Illustrated reported Sunday that at least four former Carolina Panthers employees have received “significant” monetary settlements as a result of inappropriate workplace comments and conduct by owner Jerry Richardson.
