Police in Gastonia are asking for the public's help identifying two men caught on video during a "smash and grab" at a local business.
The incident happened around 4:20 a.m. on September 14, at the National Tire & Battery on the 2400 block of E. Franklin Boulevard. Police said the front door was smashed and two televisions were stolen.
About $200 worth of damage was done to the door, and the televisions were valued at $700 and $400.
The store's surveillance system caught images of two men. Both are white males with closely cropped hair. One had a medium build and was wearing a black visor hat, gray shirt and blue jeans.
The other had a smaller build with a mustache and beard. He was wearing a teal-colored button-up shirt over a gray t-shirt, dark jeans and black tennis shoes.
Anyone with information about the burglary or the identity of the men in the photos is asked to call Detective Whitlock at 704-842-5123, or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at 704-861-8000.
