Robbery investigation underway at gun shop in Concord

CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) -

A robbery investigation is underway at a gun store in Concord. 

Concord police say someone drove a black GMC Sierra into the front door of the Repent Arms firearms store on Union Street around 2:30 a.m.

When officers responded to the call, around 2:30 a.m., they also received a call from and On-Star representative saying the air bags in the GMC had been deployed. 

The vehicle was reported stolen out of Charlotte, police say. 

Concord police are working with the Repent Arms owners to determine how many guns were stolen. Officers are also working to obtain surveillance video.
