A vehicle fire closed part of Interstate 85 in Cabarrus County Sunday afternoon.
According to an official in Concord, it happened on I-85 southbound near Exit 58 in Concord, causing traffic backups on Highway 29 and Highway 73.

The vehicle fire was reported around 2:15 p.m.
There's no word on injuries of what caused the vehicle fire.
