SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

A fourth person has now been arrested in an attempted armed robbery at the Village Inn Pizza restaurant in Salisbury.

Jawaan Rahine Williams, 31, of Clancy Street in Salisbury was charged by Salisbury Police with robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault inflicting serious injury, and discharging a firearm into occupied property.  Bond was set at $100,000.

Three people had already been charged in the August 31 incident.

Shybious Montreal Duncan, 22, of Charlotte, was charged with felony attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.  Bond was set at $25,000.

Tyree Dashon Stiller, 22, was charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. Bond was set at $75,000.

Brittany Dannyelle Dalton, 23, was charged with felony accessory after the fact. Police say she turned herself in at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office. Bond was set at $5000.

According to a report at the Salisbury Police Department, three men wearing bandanas over their faces went into the back door of the restaurant on Statesville Boulevard just before midnight on August 31.

At least one of the men showed a gun and ordered all of the workers to get on the floor.

The men then tried to get a worker to open the safe.  When the worker couldn't get the safe to open, the men tried, but they too failed.

Investigators say Williams struck a worker on the head with a gun before all three men left the restaurant.  They also say Williams fired a shot into the air during the attempted robbery.
