Man injured in southeast Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A man was injured in a shooting in southeast Charlotte Tuesday morning. 

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a man was shot in the shoulder in the 400 block of Fannie Circle, just off of Monroe Road. It happened just after 7 a.m.

Police fanned out in the area, searching for potential witnesses.

The man went to Carolinas Medical Center and is expected to be OK.

There's no word on a motive.
