We're still trying to shake off the 90s after another high of 92 Thursday.
Heading into the weekend, 80s are expected to return. Another front, this time coming in from the west, will bring scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm back into the forecast as it cuts across the Carolinas over the second half of the weekend. Having said that, each new set of data is looking drier and drier with this late-weekend front. So we definitely don't want to promise too much rain at this point.
Beyond, it looks cool and dry for mid-late next week, as another dry area of high pressure settles back over the region. Highs next week look to stays in the more seasonal 80s.
Have a great Friday and weekend!
