WEATHER: Rain chances remain near zero, changes coming next week

Summer Season doesn't end until the 22nd...boy, no joke!

With high pressure remaining firmly in control of our weather, highs will soar to the mid 90s both today and Friday. Noticeably higher humidity will also be spending a few days with us. The worst part is that rain chances are near zero into the weekend. With a 7" YTD rainfall deficit, that's not what we need to see.

This weekend, a cold front will move through. It will still be hot and muggy on Saturday, but the front will come by on Sunday and drop the temperatures and humidity at least a little.

The bigger changes will come next week. Highs will scale back to the mid 80s - where we should be this time of year, and rain chances go up to 30% at the beginning of the week.
