Its "Light the Night Walk" is in November. Annual fundraiser to help fight these blood cancers. I didn't know this, but heard today that for kids under the age of 18, leukemia is the most common type of cancer.
Thanks so much to LLS for having me and in particular to Julie and Maggie for sharing their stories. 23-year-old Maggie was diagnosed with leukemia three months after having her baby girl, Isabella. Maggie is now in remission, growing back her hair and Isabella is now 2.
