We haven't seen the 80s (or below average temps for that matter) in two and a half weeks. Many of us will be happy to hear that we have both in the forecast for the next 3 days. Mid 80s return this afternoon and stick around through Friday.
Although we are catching a break from the high heat, the humidity isn't going anywhere. Since there is still plenty of moisture to deal with, combined with a front that will stay stalled to our south, rain coverage will be a bit higher over the next 3 days, between 50-60%. This will be beneficial for our rain deficit, which is back to about 5" below average for the year.
The 90s make their return by the weekend, as we climb back into the low 90s both Saturday and Sunday. Lower rain chances hold around 20% Saturday, only up to 30% Sunday.
Have a great Hump Day!
