MONROE, NC (WBTV) - Four people were arrested Thursday in connection to a homicide investigation that began when a man was found shot to death at a Monroe hotel.
Jarvis Dakota Miller, 27, Robert Cordara Hood, 27, Charles Denziele Hunt, 21, and Demetress Leandra Bennett, 23, were all arrested and charged with first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Miller was also charged with possession of a firearm by felon.

The four are charged in the death of 39-year-old Danny McGriff, Jr, who was found deceased Wednesday at the Relax Inn on W. Roosevelt Boulevard. Police said he had a gunshot wound to the chest.
Investigators have not said what led them to naming the four charged as suspects. All are being held without bond in the Union County Jail.
