RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) - Gov. Pat McCrory and Sen. Richard Burr will appear with Donald Trump at a July 25 campaign stop in Winston-Salem, according to a senior Republican official.
Fresh off the Republican Convention, Trump will return to North Carolina with a "unified Republican ticket," the official said.
Trump's pick for vice president, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, will also appear at the rally. McCrory is slated to introduce Pence to the Winston-Salem crowd.
Rep. Virginia Foxx is scheduled to appear the rally as well.
This is the first time McCrory will appear publicly with Trump after previously saying he would support the Republican nominee for president.
The campaign stop is scheduled for July 25 at 8 p.m. at the Laurence Joel Veteran Memorial coliseum's annex.
