CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Less than 48 hours after first posting about Lenoir's 10-year-old Angelica Rich… an update from Ireland!

I know. Kinda crazy. But in Monday's post I mentioned the little boy in the hospital room next to Angelica was from Dublin. (READ HERE) His mom saw it and emailed to let us know her son's name is Zaki... and... she said... Angelica touched their family in incredible ways.

Like Angelica, Zaki has Cerebral Palsy.

"Angelica reduced me to tears on discharge day," said Zaki's mom, Carmel. "She gifted Zaki her wheelchair. She said she knew he needed one and she had another at home."

Carmel said giving away her chair was evidence Angelica has a heart of gold.

Carmel also sent this picture of the two families together. All the "roomies" at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Love the picture. Love the smiles.

Love how Facebook skips over oceans and connects people.

"Angelica and my son Zaki went through huge surgeries," Carmel wrote. "But it was our children who somehow gave us -- the parents -- strength. The Rich family had a profoundly positive impact on us and one that will stay with us always. One day we hope to visit North Carolina and meet again. Or, maybe, have them here in Ireland!"

#MollysKids, now crossing continents. Had to share.
