CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - It's going to be another hot and humid day. Highs will be in the mid 90s with a 50% chance for showers and thunderstorms.
Friday and Saturday will bring lower rain chances but higher temperatures. So far, the hottest temperature we have reached this summer is 96. We will likely top that and reach 98 by the end of the week. When the humidity is factored in, we it will feel well over 100.
Temperatures will scale back to the low to mid 90s Sunday and into next week thanks to a weak cold front that will arrive and stall. We will also bring back those afternoon thunderstorm chances for temporary relief in the afternoons.
