Police have identified a man shot and killed in north Charlotte Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers were called to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 1900 block of Newcastle Street around 6:41 a.m. Tuesday morning.
When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as 22-year-old Deondre White, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medic pronounced White dead on scene.
