LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - Can you help find the owner of this wedding band?
Someone lost it 15-20 years ago at a campground in Lincoln County. The kid who found it is now getting married himself, realizes its importance and just reached out to see if I could help find the rightful owner.
Here's his email:
"Good Morning Mrs. Grantham,
About 15-20 years ago my family had a camper at Wildlife Woods Campground Inc at Sherrills Ford in North Carolina. It's on Lake Norman. There was a spot I would always go and look to find arrow heads and clay pottery pieces. One time I came across what I thought was a piece of copper pipe but when I pulled it out of the water it was a ring. A wedding band. I hadn't thought much of it since then but Saturday I got engaged. I now understand its meaning. I thought nowadays with social media and your help, I might be able to find its owner. The funny thing is it actually fits me now.
Brandon grew up in Gastonia. He's now 33 and lives in Ohio. I love his email. Love that he kept the ring all these years! I'm more than willing to help.
In order to not post Brandon's personal information publicly, if you think you know the owner just email me directly. email@example.com. I'll forward your note to Brandon. He can take it from there.
I mean, in the off-chance this works...
