GASTON COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a woman says he stalked her and then pretended to be a police officer in an attempt to get her to stop her car.
According to the Gastonia Police Department, Bradley Thomas Isenhour was arrested and booked in the Gaston County jail early Thursday morning.
A woman called police saying Isenhour has been coming to the restaurant where she works and became "obsessed with her." The woman told police that he began "following her and other female employees home from work."
Wednesday night, the woman says she and a coworker were driving home from work when a car started to follow them before turning on blue lights. The woman didn't stop her car and said it followed her home and the pair confronted the driver, identified as Isenhour, who then left the house.
Officers later found Isenhour and arrested him.
He's been charged with stalking and representing himself as a sworn law enforcement officer by unlawfully operating a vehicle on a public highway equipped with a blue light. He's being held in jail under a $2,000 bond.
