CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The low pressure system which has been bringing severe thunderstorms and even tornadoes to the Great Plains and Midwest is moving closer to us - but only at a slow pace. In the meantime, we will become more and more unsettled through the second half of the week.
Both today and Thursday will feature highs in the mid 80s, with more humidity. Rain chances will also increase - especially during the afternoon hours. A cool front now back west of us finally moves through on Friday. That brings the best rain chance before high pressure settles in over the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday look a bit cooler and a lot drier with plenty of sunshine to go around.
