Pittenger critical of White House

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron at my desk in the WBTV Newsroom.
New tonight, we’re in Washington, DC talking to NC Representative Robert Pittenger about House Bill 2.  He tells us he is critical of the Obama administration and says national lawmakers may soon take action to stop the White House from what some are calling an overreach.  WBTV’s investigative reporter Nick Ochsner will fill us in.
Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders were winners tonight in the West Virginia primaries.  A new poll of key swing states shows Democrat Hillary Clinton and Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, in a virtual tie.  Trump intends to meet with GOP leaders Thursday in an effort to unify the party.
Marked and unmarked sheriff’s vehicles were back at the late pop icon Price’s estate near Minneapolis tonight.  Deputies won’t say what they’re looking for, only that they were being thorough.
We do know Prince met with a doctor twice last month, including the day before he died.  Search warrants say he was prescribed medication.  His autopsy results are pending.
Terrible tornadoes again tonight racing through Kentucky.  That same weather system could fire up some strong thunderstorms here.  Eric Thomas will have the latest on the timetable in his First Alert Forecast.
Please join Molly Grantham, Eric Thomas, Delano Little and me for WBTV News at 11:00 tonight!
