Two crimes, same place

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron at my desk in the WBTV Newsroom.
Breaking news-- a woman’s body found dead in a Gastonia bathroom tonight.  It’s the same place where a shooting happened two weeks ago.  We’re asking police about the link to these two crimes.
After a day of snow squalls in the mountains, we’re getting spotty rain and much cooler temperatures.  Eric Thomas says we’ll be in the 40’s tomorrow morning.
NC House Speaker Tim Moore says the state won’t meet Monday’s deadline from the US Justice Department demanding HB2 be scrapped.  However, Governor McCrory tonight disagrees with Speaker Moore, saying there will be a response.  He’s just not saying what that response will entail.

Have you seen the wildfires in Alberta, Canada?  At least seven blazes are out of control, tearing through the town of Fort McMurray.  Most of the residents went to evacuation shelters, but when the fires took a turn in direction, those shelters had to be evacuated.

I mentioned the snow and cold temps, but there was also a tornado and hail near Wilmington.  Spring has sprung on the Carolinas.

Please join Molly Grantham, Eric Thomas, Delano Little and me for WBTV News at 11:00 tonight!
