CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - After several stormy days, we finally get a break today!
Under partly sunny skies, highs will scale back to the low to mid 70s this afternoon and we should manage to stay dry most of the day.
Patchy clouds, cool and dry this evening, temperatures will be in the 60s. As an upper-level low pressure drifts our way overnight, a shower may pop up, especially in western sections. Temperatures will fall into the 50s overnight.
Thursday brings that upper-level low right over North Carolina, prompting a decent chance for afternoon showers along with unseasonably cool temperatures only in the low to mid 60s.
Temps climb again by the weekend. We will be back in the low 70s on Friday and the 80s over the weekend with a decent amount of sunshine and low rain chances expected all the way through Mother's Day.
