After highs near 90° on Tuesday, afternoon readings will fall back to the mid to upper 70s through the end of the week - thanks to a cold front dropping down through the Carolinas this morning.
Except for the drop in temperatures and a few more clouds around, you won't notice the front much at all.
So, we will stay dry today but there is a small chance of a shower popping up by Thursday afternoon. The best rain chance comes with another cold front set to arrive on Friday. There is a 60% chance for rain then, but actual rain amounts appear to be on the light side.
The weekend looks nice. At least one model is leaving rain in the forecast for Saturday morning. But even if we do see a shower, it should quickly move out and leave us with a nice day. We will return to the 80s by the end of the weekend.
