Toyota service for your car tires is a necessity!
Do you give your car tires all the attention that they deserve? You may not think about all of the auto services that your tires and wheels require, but you should. Maintaining your car tires may seem like a lot, but it’s actually really simple if you bring your car to our Toyota Service Center in Charlotte.

Get caught up on car tire service!

If you’re not sure of the last time that you brought your vehicle in for car tire service, you’re more than likely overdue. What auto services does your car need? Our Charlotte Toyota services techs can help!

Tire pressure check

Weather and daily wear and tear can increase or decrease the air pressure in your tires. Too much pressure or not enough pressure can affect the wear pattern of your tires, your fuel economy, and even cause a blowout. With a routine tire pressure check from our Charlotte Toyota service techs, you can rest easy knowing your tires are properly inflated.

Tire rotation

Every 5,000 to 8,000 miles, your vehicle needs a Charlotte tire rotation. This cheap Toyota service prevents your car tires from wear unevenly. This is a great way to extend the life of your tires and put off needing new ones so soon.

Wheel alignment

If you just got a car tire replacement, or it’s been about a year since you last had one, it’s time for a wheel alignment. One sign that you need a wheel alignment is if your car starts to pull to one side when you take your hands off of the wheel. This is an indicator that you have uneven wear and your wheels are misaligned. This could have happened because you hit a deep pothole or hopped one too many curbs.

Tire replacement

When was the last time you bought new car tires? Our Charlotte Toyota service techs suggest having your tires replaced every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. If you’re not sure if your car needs new tires, you can check yourself.
  • Look for wear bars. If you can see metal under the rubber, the tread is too low and your tires need to be replaced.
  • Do the penny test! Place a penny in the tread of the tire with Abraham Lincoln’s head facing down. If part of Lincoln’s head is still covered, your tread is OK. If you can see all of Lincoln, your tread depth is too low.
Luckily, a car tire replacement is affordable at our Toyota Service Center! We even offer auto service coupons that can help you save money on new tires.
