CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Following yesterday's rain, wet weather will be hard to come by for the better part of the next week ahead. This is not great news for farmers, gardeners, or allergy sufferers.
Our Wednesday will be partly to mostly sunny with a light northeast breeze. This northeast wind direction will hold temps slightly below normal today, in the 60s. Since this pattern doesn't really budge much over the next 2-3 days, expect high temperatures consistently below average to close out the rest of the week. Highs will range in the mid 60s with lows in the mid 40s.
Rain chances remain low through the end of the week.. although a few showers may get close enough to drift into the viewing area Friday afternoon, but the chance right now only runs around 20%. Beyond that, it looks like our next very small rain chance is not until Tuesday of next week.
Remember how chilly last weekend was? This weekend will be completely different! Highs will return to the 70s with partly cloudy skies, and we'll make a run at 80° by the early part of next week.
Have a fantastic Hump Day!
