Sunday's high was in the 40s... Monday was in the 50s... Tuesday made it to the 60s... Today will be in the 70s! How's that for a warm-up?
With a high pressure system dominating the east coast, the sun will continue to shine brightly today. Gusty winds will also continue to pull in from the southwest - bringing in more warm air. That's why highs will be in the mid to upper 70s both today and again on Thursday.
The next best chance of rain will be Thursday night into early Friday morning. As of now, it looks like most of the rain will fall overnight.
A parting shower may last into Friday morning but we will clear out after that. Friday and Saturday will be in the low to mid 70s. Easter Sunday will start near 50° and end up in the low 70s, but there is a chance for afternoon showers that will probably linger into Monday.
Sunrise is 7:16am on Easter Sunday.
