Three arrested in fight at child's birthday party in Lincoln Co.

LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

Three people were arrested in a fight at a child's birthday party in Lincoln County. 

The incident happened around 7:20 p.m. in a shopping center parking lot on North Aspen Street. Around 25 people involved were on scene for a child's birthday, police say. 

Police say Devin Lamar Robinson got into an argument with his child's mother and struck her in the face while she was holding the child. The mother and child both suffered minor injuries. 

Robinson and his sister, Latisha Robinson, also assaulted other people, police say. In retaliation, Alamar Teracious Edwards punched a woman in the face.

Lincoln County EMS treated those injured in the fight.

Edwards is charged with assault on a female. He was sent to the Lincoln County Jail and given a $1,500 bond which he posted. 

Devin Robinson turned himself in. He is charged with assault on a female, assault on a child and communicating threats. He was placed in the Lincoln County Jail and given a $3,000 bond. 

Officers served Latisha Robinson with assault and battery warrants. She was arrested and placed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $1,000 bond, which she posted.

All three suspects have prior violent criminal histories. The case remains open and police say additional charges are possible.
