CMS board launches superintendent search, Some High Country Schools closed or delayed today - Watch WBTV for details

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Good morning!  It is the 4th day of March, already. Kristen Miranda here filling in for Christine Sperow, who is a little under the weather today.

PARENTS: Watauga County Schools and Avery County Schools are CLOSED today. Ashe, Alleghany and Mitchell County Schools are operating on a two-hour delay. Click HERE to check our closings/delay list throughout the morning.

As you get the kids ready for school, we're talking about the search for the next superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. This morning our Ashton Pellom has a live report on how the school board will conduct its search and what is different this time around.
