CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - After last night's soaking rain, today will bring a bit of a break, as much of the rain will pull away during the morning hours.
The commute will likely still be wet for many, but the rest of the day appears to be dominated by clouds and chilly weather with readings holding in the 40s for most.
The next round comes through on Wednesday. As a low pressure system moves north, temperatures will return to the 60s. Heavy rain is quite likely and thunderstorms are even a possibility. We could pick up another 1" - 2" by the time the second system moves out Wednesday evening.
Thursday through the weekend will be mainly dry and highs will be close to average. We will be in the mid 50s most days.
Be careful out there, hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
