The daughters of a murdered Columbia man increased their reward with hopes of finding answers to their father's death.
Laurin Barnes and Kaitlin Huffstetler are the daughters of Charles Kusko Jr., who was found shot and killed at his home on Budon Court in Columbia on Sept. 8. Five months later, his daughters are still searching for answers in his murder and are increasing the reward to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.
"You always think that he's just going to walk through the door, but as the day goes on, you realize that he's not," Barnes said.
Both sisters are pleading for their father's killer to be brought to justice and for anyone with information to come forward.
"He'll never get to walk me down the aisle," Huffstetler said. "Whoever did this robbed us of so much. Robbed our Dad of so much."
