Molly's Kids: North Lincoln Middle School makes video for BJ Correll

School is out for the week, but here's a student project you can share through the weekend.

THIS YouTube VIDEO >>

All of North Lincoln Middle participated in this production. They students are showing support for one of our #MollysKids... the beloved BJ Correll.

BJ is fighting leukemia for a second time. He was first diagnosed in the sixth grade.  Now he's in the 9th grade at North Lincoln High, though for the past 80+ days he has been at Levine Children's Hospital going through treatments.

North Lincoln Middle has never forgotten BJ.

You can see many of the kids you'll see in the video wearing "Cure for BJ" t-shirts and holding signs.

School counselor Dan Donnellan says the video was inspired by a school program called "Rachel's Challenge", which encourages kids to spread kindness and compassion.

"We wanted you to see our video," Dan said. "We're hoping the more people who watch this lip dub and comment with nice words for BJ, the bigger the smile it'll bring to his face."

Awesome idea.

**Editor’s note: This is about one of #MollysKids, children WBTV Anchor Molly Grantham follows closely on her Facebook page. It was first published there – which is why it’s written in a personal way. For years Molly has followed hundreds of kids with uphill medical battles.
