SANTA CLARA, CA (WBTV) -

Three thoughts after Super Bowl 50 first half:

1. The Panthers came out tentative on defense and offense. The Super Bowl jitters are no joke! Led to a 10-0 deficit for the Cats.

2. Aqib Talib's face mask on Corey Brown was blatant and ridiculous. Once you realize you have hold of someone's face mask, you let go. You don't yank harder or you could hurt someone. His second personal foul of the game. Quite a little punkish act. Reminded me of another guy this season - Odell Beckham Jr.

MORE: If Roger Goodell had his way, Aqib Talib would already be ejected from SB50

3. Mario Addison made a heck of a play on the Broncos' punt return that almost went for a TD. Kept pursuit and ran down Jordan Norwood. Broncos eventually had to settle for a field goal and only a 13-7 lead at halftime!
