SAN FRANCISCO (WBTV) -

I have to admit it, there isn't one tiny bit of me that gives even a tiny hoot that I've been awake now more than 24 hours.

The plan was to arrive at 8 (PST) last night and head straight to the hotel so I could catch a nap before getting up at midnight to get ready for our morning show.

The plan didn't quite work out.

Our bags, with ALL my equipment and clothes, were super late getting to the airport. Then Paul and I spent what seemed like 3 days finding the rental car place at the SFO airport.

Seriously, the rental car gave us the ONE SPOT from the farthest possible spot in the rental car lot. Our fitbits exploded.

But we made it to the hotel in just enough time for me to lay in the bed with eyes as big as saucers for about an hour. I think I might have slept for 37 seconds.

I made it out to my live shot location with about 10 minutes to spare and did hits every half hour until 6:30 (EST).

I even made a new friend. Jose is with the Golden Gate Bridge Police. Super nice guy stopped and lit up our work scene with his flood lights. He says he's pulling for the Panthers!

Take a look at the pics. It's why I wasn't the least bit zombie-like on TV.

WE ARE IN SAN FRANCISCO FOR SUPER BOWL 50!! We didn't come here to sleep. We came to showcase how awesome this city is and how amazing our Panthers are!

I can sleep when I'm dead, for now I nap! ;)
