Girls missing from Panthers Pride Rally have been found

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Two young girls who went missing during the Panthers Pride Pep Rally in uptown Charlotte have been found.

Organizers and police confirmed that two young girls who got separated from their parents at the pep rally have since been reunited.

Mick Mixon, the voice of the Carolina Panthers, made an announcement at the end of the rally saying they had been separated during the event at Romare Bearden Park.

The parents of the young girls went to the Charlotte Fire station on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Church and Mint Streets.

Officials confirmed they were later found thanks to "due diligence and helpful citizens."
