Our Panthers impressive run keeps going.
One more tough win will bring the coveted Lombardi Trophy to the Carolinas.
It’s been a wild ride for sure, and certainly a source of civic pride. The “Cats” amazing season has helped bring our community together.
Rich and poor, black and white, male and female – we put aside our differences to focus on what we have in common, the success of “our” Panthers.
And if you didn’t think that having home field advantage during the playoffs was important, just ask area merchants how big a deal it was to them.
The last two home playoff games have brought in an estimated $10 million dollars-plus to local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, and merchandise vendors.
Even the severe weather our region experienced couldn’t deter thousands of fans who still found a way to support the team.
It’s less easy to quantify, perhaps, but there’s no doubt that Charlotte’s profile as a vibrant, attractive city has been boosted by the accomplishments of the Panthers.
It’s hard to imagine that this is anything but a positive in luring new residents – and maybe even businesses – to consider making the Queen City their home.
The continued success of the Panthers means nothing but positives for our region.
After all, won’t you be proud to say you live in “the home of the NFL Champion Carolina Panthers”?
