Is your superstition the reason the Panthers are Bay-bound?

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Many people are completely convinced their game day rituals, or season-long superstitions, are the reason the Carolina Panthers did so well this year.

Some people have the strangest stories, like not cutting hair or wearing the same shirt. Greg Olsen hasn’t shaved since the pre-season. And we've only lost one game since the pre-season. Coincidence? Maybe, but maybe not.

Aidan Crawford is a 9-year-old Charlotte boy who is convinced his older sister Lillian is the reason we made it to the big game.

“This year, every time she came in the room and the Panthers were trailing, they made a big play,” Aidan said. The Panthers lost one game this season against the Atlanta Falcons, and guess who wasn’t home when that loss happened?

“We classify her as our good luck charm,” Aidan said.

A Matthews teen also claims to be the reason for the almost perfect season.

Roo Chaudhary is a 16-year-old with a 6’1" frame. He manages to fit himself into a chair built for a 6-year-old every single game. Roo is convinced it’s why the Panthers only lost one game. The game they lost? Roo didn’t have his chair.
