Big snow? - | WBTV Charlotte

Big snow?

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron at my desk in the WBTV Newsroom.

With temperatures dropping into the teens and single digits in some areas tonight, winter is here.  Eric Thomas is examining a new model that shows a possible big snow later in the week for the foothills and mountains.

If you were watching the Panthers game, did you see the little girl who was handed a football by running back Jonathan Stewart? Her reaction has gone viral and tonight, our reporter Sara-Blake Moran tells us who she is and why that football means so much.

The man who hit and killed 28-year old Kelli Putnam on South Boulevard will face a judge on DWI charges tomorrow.  Putnam was run over after walking home from the Panthers game.  Her family released a photo of Kelli and her boyfriend in the stands at the game just hours before the incident.  They say that’s the way they want to remember her.

I was stunned to learn of rock and roll legend Glenn Frey’s death today.  The founding member of the Eagles, who wrote along with Don Henley, so many of the songs we know by heart.  Frey died after complications set in following a surgery last fall.  He was only 67.

Please join Eric, Molly Grantham, Delano Little and me for WBTV News at 11:00!
