Two men arrested in undercover drug investigation, Huntersville SWAT situation

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (WBTV) -

Two men were arrested in an undercover drug investigation that prompted a SWAT situation in Huntersville Friday morning.

A search warrant was executed for a home on Pacemaker Lane around 6 a.m., where officials believed heroin was being sold out of.

Thomas Edward Mann Jr., 55, and 24-year-old Brandon Gunter were arrested as a result of the investigation. Officers seized several items from the home, including narcotics and drug paraphernalia. 

Mann is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a dwelling for sale of controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiring to sell and deliver a controlled substance. 

Gunter is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver, possession of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiring to sell and deliver a controlled substance.
