With 2016 now underway, Nettie Reeves was back in studio to talk about ways you can improve your health in the year ahead.


She touched on the following focus areas:

HEART HEALTH

-         Improve your heart health with aerobic activities, including walking, dancing, jogging and jumping jacks.

MUSCLE HEALTH

-         Toning activities like pushups, standing crunches, squats and planks can improve muscles health.

STRETCHING

-         Basic extensions of the arms and legs can help keep your muscles stretched. Proper stretch can help you avoid injuries.

BRAIN HEALTH

-         For simply brain exercises, try brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand. Also, try doing an art project!
