Overnight rain moves out, more returns tomorrow

Another thick band of rainfall is crashing into the viewing area overnight with the mountains and foothills most vulnerable to more flooding.

An additional 1"- 2" will fall in areas by daybreak including the rest of the viewing area.

Another round of rain will redevelop on Wednesday with the afternoon and evening hours seeing the bulk of it.

For that reason Flood Watches will remain in effect across the mountains and foothills through Thursday morning.

Looking for cooler temps and drier air?

It is in the forecast. By the weekend we will see sunny skies and highs in the 40s to near 50 with overnight lows in twenties.
