GAP robbery arrest

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron at my desk in the WBTV Newsroom. 

Breaking tonight, there’s been an arrest for the recent robbery at the GAP clothing store in the Arboretum.  Several robbers held customers at gunpoint during the stick-up, stealing their watches, wallets and cell phones.  We’re told one of the crooks is now in custody.

The most recent hole in the I-77 Bridge over the Catawba River has been patched temporarily.  This is the third hole in three years there.  After traffic was jammed for miles, work crews finally re-opened all lanes, but will have to come back this weekend to make a permanent repair.

Evangelist Franklin Graham is siding with Donald Trump - and calling for a ban to keep Muslims from entering the United States.  Reverend Graham cited a poll saying 25 percent of Muslims living in the U.S. agree that violence against America can be justified as part of a global jihad.

A North Carolina bus driver has resigned after accidentally dragging a first grade for near a mile when her arm got stuck in the bus door.  The little girl's grandmother saw what happened-- and had to use her car to get in front of the bus to stop it.
