Low 60s today, cold and sunny this weekend

It's clear and cooler this morning behind the front that blew through Thursday, daybreak readings are mainly in the 40s, but colder 30s in the mountains.

As high pressure builds in to the Carolinas, you'll notice a major difference in temperatures today.

After being in the upper 70s Thursday, cooler air will blow in with windy conditions and limit highs to the low 60s this afternoon.

Highs both Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 50s and overnight lows will be the coldest we've seen so far this season, likely at or below freezing each weekend morning. The bright side (literally) is that sunshine will dominate and rain won't be an issue at all this weekend!

The next chance for any rain looks to arrive late Tuesday, lingering through Wednesday.  Until then, we'll continue to dry out after so many recent wet days.

Hope you have a great Friday and weekend!
