Man wanted in two Ballantyne-area pharmacy robberies

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A man police say robbed a pharmacy near Charlotte's Ballantyne area last month is now wanted in another nearby pharmacy robbery.

Around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the man entered the Harris Teeter on Lancaster Highway, approached the pharmacy, pulled out a gun and demanded property. After obtaining the property, he ran off. 

The man is also wanted in a Oct. 22 robbery at a Walgreens located less than two miles away, on W. Providence Road. The clerk told police the robber walked in, pulled out a gun and demanded property. Similar to the most recent robbery, he obtained the property and ran off. 

The robber is described as a white man around 5'10" and 180 lbs. He was captured on surveillance wearing a gray shirt and a brown baseball hat.
