Wet start to the week, temps hold in the low 60s

A huge batch of rain is aimed right at us and it will make for a wet Monday. Rain will be heavy at times with most places picking up 1-2 inches by the time it winds down this evening.

As for the Panthers game is concerned, you'll likely need the poncho, but the heaviest and steadiest rain will likely have moved on, tapering down during the evening.  Temperatures will likely hold in the low 60s, so while it will be wet, it won't be all that cold.

The weather pattern only improves slightly for Tuesday and Wednesday.  Even though it will remain mostly cloudy, any rain that falls will be light and patchy.  Highs will remain in the seasonal 60s both days.

There will be a big temperature jump Thursday and Friday, with highs back in the mid 70s. There will still be a chance for some showers later in the work week, but the chances until late Friday are comparatively low.

At this early point, it looks like the next chance of rain will come Saturday and be gone by Sunday.
